The COMM 2 Pack from Mystery Ranch reflects 25 years of experience packing and protecting electronic gear for use in the world. This isn’t just a pack with a radio pocket. The radio is held immobile in its own compartment, locked to the NICE Frame. The rest of the NICE COMM System – the Hitchhiker, and Daypack Lid – can be detached to strip the COMM 2 to its basic job.
The COMM 2 is built to carry the 117 and equivalent size radios and their accessories. It has a clear view port that enables you to see and key an attached KDU. Two internal pockets hold small accessories and cabling, and a large bottom pocket holds batteries, SAT antenna and ISLADS. PAL web covers the sides of the pack for additional pockets. COMM 2 takes all these benefits, bundles in your Tough Book and keeps it ready to use by connecting it to your radio through internal ports. Just zip the computer pocket open and start keying.
