Got this because I wanted the swift but it was back ordered and figured I would try this one out -- I needed a larger pack to fit the in between of my 30L day pack and 48L Osprey. I settled on the Swift originally because I wanted something with greater capacity and felt the Rush would be too small. This is a GREAT DAY PACK! I could see a minimalist camper pushing it to an overnight bag. I decided to keep it and use it as my primary daypack along with keeping the Swift for heavier duties (finally shipped!!!).

The Rush carries weight very well and doesn't swing around on you -- had many treacherous creek and downed tree crosses without it shifting like my other pack. There is a water bladder pouch that held my 2L reservoir very well -- biggest gripe is the lack of hose management is an issue. Top compartments and hip belt pockets carry detail items well (the are mesh on the bottom/inside so anything wet in the main compartment will translate to the top 2). Carried up to 30lbs of gear on my recent trip without issue. Because of the time of year, there could have been deep snow, rain, cold, or sunny warmth.....had to bring extra gear on top of my extra emergency supplies since I was alone and backcountry -- 3 liters of water, rain jacket/pants, long sleeve shirt, gaiters, IFAK, ESEE-6 knife, hat/gloves, flashlight, and a few other "just in case" items.

The 3 zipper design makes life very easy and quality is top notch. Frame is excellent and really makes a custom, comfortable fit. Removable waist belt is very comfortable. Haven't removed it for use but tried at home and it's an easy procedure. Lots of attachment points so can be very modular if you like to throw extra stuff on the pack.

Overall, great pack and very happy. Again, only gripe is the lack of hose management for water reservoirs
