Built over a twenty year period between 1632 and 1653, the Taj Mahal of Agra, India was constructed by emperor Shah Jahan to house that which was most dear to him – the body of his most beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Though the Golf Mahal wasn’t created to hold something quite as large as a body, it was created to protect the item held most dear to those of us stricken with a peculiar obsession – the modern golf disc.
Accordingly, the Golf Mahal was created to accommodate the needs of the modern disc golfer, integrating our Futura Yoke system for ideal disc-carrying comfort. The Golf Mahal carries like a dream, even when pushed to Feldberg status with its ability to carry up to 40+ discs for practice sessions. Despite this feat, the true brilliance of this bag lies in its versatility. When out for a quick casual round, the Golf Mahal can be transformed into a nimble gazelle by compressing the collapsible side compartments. Once the compartments are compressed, there is still room to hold up to 20 discs, plus water and other essentials in the outer detail pockets. You can also outfit the Golf Mahal in tourney fashion with space for:
- 12-18 discs in the main compartment
- 6-10 extra discs in one side compartment
- a hydration bladder and rain gear in the other side compartment
- 2 putters and a mini in the putter pocket
- an umbrella and stool in the front compressions
- sport drinks in the water bottle pockets
- and all the other tournament accoutrements one could need in the detail pockets
If it starts raining, no need to worry; simply undo the rain fly, bust out an umbrella, slide it in the umbrella slot between the main and side compartments and wear the deployed umbrella and bag at the same time, while taking refuge under all that the palace of disc golf bags has to offer.
