Warranty

We guarantee all of our products. For Fire Pack Warranty, see below. For all other warranty issues and repairs all you have to do is:

  1. Call us (406.585.1428) and describe the specific problems with your pack (or packs). We will email you a Return Authorization (RA) number and include a Repair Shipping Form. Fill out this form and include it with the pack for repair.
  2. Include any special instructions under the additional comments section. Write the RA# on the top of the return shipping address, cut the address label off of the bottom of the form and attach it to the outside of the package. You are responsible for the cost of shipping to us; we cover return shipping costs to get the repaired packs back to you.
  3. Upon inspection, we will inform you of the necessary repairs, any costs associated with the repairs and an estimate of how long it will take. We will then repair your pack and send it back to you

Fire Packs and Accessories have a 3 year warranty

Firefighters! We build packs for the toughest users, and you guys (and gals) use our packs harder than anyone else. That said, we have specific procedures for warranty and repair on our fire packs.

  3. Before you ship the pack, it must be clean. WE WILL NOT REPAIR DIRTY PACKS. IF YOU SEND US A DIRTY PACK WE WILL SEND IT BACK. NO EXCEPTIONS. SO PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE SENDING YOUR PACK IN FOR REPAIR:
    • Open every zipper and drawstring pocket as wide as possible. Empty the pack of all fireline debris by turning upside-down and shaking vigorously.
    • Using the frame sheet adjuster, break the Velcro bond and remove the yoke from the body of the bag, shaking debris out of there as well. (Include the yoke with the pack for repair.)
    • Spray the pack thoroughly, from all angles, inside and out, with a pressure washer. (The car wash is a good place to clean your pack.). DO NOT USE HARSH CHEMICALS TO CLEAN YOUR PACK. If necessary, use a mild detergent like Dawn. (We also recommend Atsko Sport Wash Detergent)
  4. Hang the clean pack to dry in the shade - do not dry your pack in direct sunlight.
  5. Use flagging tape to mark every problem, on each pack. Write notes on the flagging if necessary.
  6. Box it up (don't forget to attach the return shipping label with RA# to the outside of the package and include the repair shipping form inside the package!) and ship it to us here in Bozeman.

Our Warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials. When it comes to fire packs, not everything can be repaired, and not all damage is covered under warranty. Burn holes and yoke damage from the dogs and chains of your chainsaw, especially due to negligence (a melted pack from putting it down in hot ash and coals, for instance), are not covered by warranty. We will repair user damage where possible, but a nominal fee will be assessed. We will make sure to clear any potential charges with you prior to repair. Please call with any questions.
