Rated 4 out of 5 by from geat small packhave had the pack a couple weeks now and have only gotten to use it once for a xc ski tour and liked it. Have been looking for a smaller daypack (18-22 ltrs) for sometime and I was glad MR brought out the Gallagator; liked the 3 zipper feature, but until the Gallagator came out, it was only on larger packs which I already have plenty of- so love that feature! the only things I wish the pack had were a padded waistbelt and padded shoulders, especially if maxing out the pack with stuff. The quality is top notch, of course, it is light and simple and the foliage color is awesome- blends in w/out being camo. I look forward to spring-fall hikes w/ it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Semi-technical Day BagHad this for a few months now and traveled quite extensively with it. The material stretches a fair amount allowing you to get away with overstuffing the bag to an extent. I normally use it as an urban / light duty hike pack and my carry on personal item. Fits under the seat well but has just enough volume in the top lid to hold charger, earbuds, passport, pen, etc plus some extras, and the tri zip is 100% the best thing in pack design to ever happen. Easily access your top layer from the lid zip, or grab something from the bottom with the vertical zipper. I'm planning to add a Coulee 30 as a longer duration carry on as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For alpine/klettersteige climbBought this to use for klettersteige/alpine over nighter in Germany. My goal is to go minimalist on this particular trip. Size is perfect internally for required gear and emergency survival. Only thing I would have liked is a flexible internal option. Even something similar to the issued assault pack hard removable plastic insert. Color is great as well

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what i was expectingFirst off, I love the colors of this pack, I got the blue with brown zippers. Well this pack isn't what I was expecting, I was disappointed that the shoulder straps or not padded and that the zippers were not the waterproof zippers. I was also hoping for something a little bit bigger as I need a pack for Canyon operations with our fire department and I was hoping this the bill. I was expecting something a little closer in size and features to the 2-day pack that I already have and love. This will not work for me but it might be a good pack for just a day hiker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for day hikesBought this bag for day hikes in the Catskills mountain. It's a great bag but I wish it had some pockets for organizing items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super durable, comfortable in hot, humid summer.Owned for 1 month, use it every day commutin to work on a bike. Very light bag, holds a ton of water outside. Clips are convienent to throw a jacket on the outside when you prepair for rain that never comes. Easy access opening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid day bagGot this pack to replace another bag I had for several years and a couple deployments. This is my first MR bag and I can say I'm a huge fan of the size and tri zip design already. The build quality is good, although I'm not blown away- but it is an entry level bag. It fits everything I need on a day to day, carries my water and other items I use often, and does so at a solid price. My only quips are the lack of additional storage pockets inside the bag, and the need for a slightly rigid frame to take this to the level I think it should be. would absolutely buy again though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs more compartmentsFeels great and fits great. I’m 5” and compared to the In-and-Out 19 pack, it fits perfectly after adjusting. It’s a good backpack but I personally think it would be better if it had more pockets. It’s basically the Urban Assault Lite. It’s a great hiking backpack but not really convenient for my everyday use because I have to dig through all my stuff to find what I’m looking for. I wouldn’t return it because I got the yellow color and I love the look of it.
