I commute an hour and often work from home so lugging various work items to include laptop, padfolio, case files, camera, document organizer, extra shirt, media case, 4 magazines, box of ammo, handcuffs, and various other smaller items. This bag meets all my needs. However, if I could make one change, it would be to be able to close the bag with my documents, padfolio standing up. That would allow me to actually use the dividers and keep document sized items in the bag. I have zero issue believing this bag will hold up tomy abuse.

This bag checks all the boxes! It has all the pockets to organize all your stuff. Like all Mystery Ranch products, the construction of this bag is rock solid and the design is very well thought out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by D0311 from Great concept…. However.I bought this product a few weeks ago and really like all but a few items. I currently own multiple M.R. items, 3 day assault pack, and one of the hot shot products (can’t recall the exact name). Both of those or for sure the 3 day are made in the USA, however the Road Tripper is not, Bummer! The other down side so far is the zippers do not “zip” back and forth smoothly. There seems to be a catch on them, almost like there is a kink in them??? I tried to adjust it with no success. Because of this I can’t operate them single handed, like when driving and trying to reach for something when it’s sitting in it’s intended location. However I liked it enough to recommend it to a friend, and he purchased one as well, (I have not confirmed if he is having zipper issues).

The inside pocket could really use one divider that runs the long way to store a clip board or folders in addition to the smaller velcro dividers. Overall good bag. Excellent quality as always.

I travel about 120 miles per day and having this gear bag fully stocked riding shotgun has definitely improved the quality of life and ease of access to daily essentials. It’s usually packed full of water and snacks with plenty of room for meds/first aid. Great buy
