Best EDC case.
I have been trying many different case for my MacBook 15" Thule, Pelican, Camelbak backpack. I always carry a mouse, sector plug, batteries, extra bloc notes, business docs, pens etc. often I even conceal my 9mm in this case. This case is perfect combination of size / volume and design... I travel a lot so I use almost on daily basis and I can not be happier. MysteryRanch product as usual rocks !
The bag is a work of art. If you just carry a laptop and charging cables this is your bag, but if you carry more, this bag is pretty good too. I work as an attorney and this is what I have fit in mine at the moment:
2017 15" MacBook Pro
18 client files
1 pad of paper
and other office type stuff.
The MacBook is a tight fit. People who carry briefcases know that they over go end over end off a desk or a chair onto the floor. The life of briefcase carriers is highlighted by such moments of terror. A poorly designed briefcase allows everything to spill out all over the floorboards of your car, and when you try and pick it up.....yikes. Obviously due to the zippers, such a dump isn't the end of the line with this case, but the big issue for me is what protects my laptop, and with this case, due to the design, the answer is nothing. When this thing goes ass over tea kettle that MacBook is going to hit on its unprotected edges and dent.
But you know what? If you're rocking a fancy laptop maybe you should just be careful, and that's what I am. An outstanding 5 star bag and in case you are considering the Tom Bihn Cadet, it's not even close. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Thanks again Dana Gleason for another wicked bag!
