Decent bino Harness

|

I like it but could use some minor tweaks. It’s a bino harness and it does what it should. Hold binos, and small items. I use Leica B2000 Rangefinder and it fits snug in the front pocket but can fully zip, and snug in side pockets. I also bought the MR rangefinder harness to add to this but with this set the extra Rangefinder pouch isn’t necessary.
It’s easy to put on and the adjustment straps don’t get Into a tangled mess behind your back like others can. Straps and buckles have held up but unfortunately the magnetic button on the lid broke off so my lid just hangs over the binos instead of cinching down. It’s a good enough harness and I don’t foresee it going anywhere away from my gear.

Made for small to medium builds

|

I really wanted to love this Bino harness. I wanted something simple and straight forward and this is it. My Sig 10x42 fit great in the main pocket and my sig rangefinder fits snugly in the front zipper pocket. The side pockets on either side work great for a GPS and small radio. The only problem is the straps that go around your torso are very short. I wear large shirts and they fit tight and a Xl is slightly baggy. I am not a giant man and I have to have the torso straps adjusted all the way out. I will not be able to use this harness with any layering system what so ever; summer and early use only.

Good but could use some improvements

|

First of all, I like this bino harness. Although it’s rough material, I haven’t noticed it being overly Loud when moving. My binos are 10x42 but feel a bit snug. I think I just need to pack out the harness a bit and everything will fit nicely. I love the side pockets because they are big enough to keep items you need but tight due to the elastic. The front pocket is a nice touch but you are required to undo the latch to access it. Opening the lid to access your binos isn’t as easy as it seems. There are two tabs on the latch and always seem to grab the wrong one. The lid opens awkwards due to the elastic siding at the top left and right sides of the lid. I wish it moved more freely. Or flipped forward. Securing the magnetic buckle can also be changing especially one handed. I think it would have been a better choice to have a loop system similar to other harnesses on the market. Plus the magnet can be a little loud. One final grip is the fact that this didn’t come with a rain cover, nor is there an option to buy one. I used this in Costa Rica under heavy rain and it got soaked very quickly. Overall it’s a good bino harness, I just hope they make some improvements next time around to make it even better

Best Harness, But Small

|

I was so happy to be able to match this Bino Harness with my Foliage MR Crew Cab that I immediately ordered one from Opticsplanet. I ordered in February of 2017 and did not get the harness till supplies arrived in April 2017.
The Bino Harness was as tough and useful as I imagined; however, it was too small for my Swarovski EL 12x50.
I am now waiting for a larger Bino Harness from Mystery Ranch. Nonetheless, I would recommend it for the appropriate sized binos.

Didn't Fit

|

I bought these off of Opticsplanet, but failed to check the MR website before I bought the item. This harness is too small for Zeiss 10x45 RF binos. I am really disappointed because everything else is great. Making them 3/4" to 1" taller would be all the difference. If the harness fits your set of glasses go for it because the layout and accessory pouches are great. But make sure you check first.
