Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Pack in need of Fine TuningThe 15L is a great design, but could use a second gen redesign. If they mirrored this design instead of the awkward 24L option, it would be much more ideal. If you're using this for carrying much more than a laptop, sweatshirt, and water bottle, you will quickly find yourself running out of space. I had the 24L as well but really disliked the layout, especially the useless front pockets and inexplicable lack of a water bottle pocket. I want to like the brand mystery ranch more, but it seems like the design team calls it quits when they hit about 80 percent completion of putting together a good product. So close, but not quite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect EDC PackSwitched from the Urban Assault to this Rip Ruck. I didn’t need the laptop space and didn’t like opening the UA. This pack is great for carrying to work. I work in a prison so I just carry first aid, some hygiene, food and office supplies as well as a water bottle. When I get to my desk I just pull the flap up and pull my stuff out with ease. What I love the most is the magnetic close even if you forget to zip the flap, it will stay closed so your stuff doesn’t fall out without your knowledge. Pack is comfy to wear and has so many hidden pockets and features that I constantly find new and useful. So glad I tried this out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be almost perfect but now only half way doneNice backpack, but it seemed like it was only half finished. Oh, why on earth it doesn't have second bottle sleeve? (And why it's so hard to make perfect working bottle sleeves for 32oz Nalgene? It's too tight if full of gear inside) It has been great for example umbrella and sitting pad etc. Also they should add vertical webbing on the other side of backpack and the bottom so user can expand carry capacity with shockcord etc if needed. That would be especially important when using such a small backpack. I don't want to carry bigger backpack for "just in case" I have to put something extra in it on the road. Why it is so hard to make a masterpiece.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great BagI am greatly enjoying my new daily work bag for a month now. Super comfortable and holds everything securely (13inch laptop, two small A4 size folders, a few pencils and pens, plus my lunch. I added a foragers pouch to the top PALS webbing which has been perfect for quick access to my phone, keys, other small things. The only issues so far have been that when the bag is full I have a hard time fitting my 32 oz water bottle in that water bottle pocket. I also put my laptop in an RFID blocking sleeve which makes it a little hard to take it in and out of the bag. Without the sleeve, it slides in and out wonderfully. Overall I am super happy with the bag. Side note that the interior dividers on the face pocket are perfect for writing tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly spaciousI’ve only been rocking this bag for a week but I’m in love. I can over stuff this bag without it feeling heavy. There are a few things I would change as far as organization but I was able to come up with a compromise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Everyday Pack!I just bought the Rip Ruck 15 and am so glad I did. 15 liters is the perfect amount of space for my daily needs. PROS: the bag stands up by itself when loaded The magnetic closure keeps your items secure if you need to move out with closing the zippersThe top handle doesn't pull against the top flap when the zippers aren't closedThe laptop and document pockets are padded and stops few inches above the bottom of the packThe shoulder straps are really comfy and well paddedCONS: the sternum strap is clunky and difficult to adjust. There's also isn't any elastic or stretch to itThe straps for the shoulders and sternum are WAY too long and they don't provide any kind of strap managementThe two internal side zippered pockets are more like side sleeves that are about 4 inches long but don't run the full length of the pack. There is space in the top lid but they didn't provide a zipper to use as a pocketOnly one side stretch is kind of a bummer, i don't see why they did didn't put one on both sides. Overall I rate this pack a 8 / 10, a few simple upgrades would make it prefect for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay enough but some quality issuesI bought this pack last year and used it daily for maybe 1-ish month before taking a trip with it. On the first day the front zippered compartment ripped on the zipper leaving the front pocket ripped open for smaller items (think money, glasses, passport, etc.) to fall out. I fixed the rip with a safety pin before sewing it myself when I got home but was disappointed to say the least. Maybe my bag was a lemon but it could be a problem if you bust a seam without noticing.Pros> Good size, fast access, whole bag easily accessible (handy for when on a plane), very good grab handle, convenient MOLLE, and decent comfort after long periods of wearCons> find of finnicky to close, only 1 water bottle pocket, interior storage works in theory but kind of a pain in real use, no ventilation on the back and (of course) poor quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent day bagBought this for a trip to NYC and it fit our tripod, small umbrellas, coats, water and miscellaneous small items. Small enough to be maneuverable and a personal item for air travel but big enough to pack for a day trip. Very durable and rugged build but still simple and minimal enough to be stylish, love the minimalist design and capability. Double zipper main rip-zip panel access entry can be a bit cumbersome/finicky to open without using one side zip at a time, perhaps bigger zipper would help? Love the magnets! Would love to see this same minimalist design in the 24L. Overall excellent mini pack!
