Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome packI've had this pack for a few months and have used it in a few precision rifle matches. Can't say enough good about it. It's the perfect size, big enough for what you need but not so large you can overload it. The tri zip design makes getting to everything, even stuff at the bottom easy. Large internal side pockets inside, outside side pockets, and the 2 lid zipper pocket make it easy to stay organized when your moving fast between stages. The external loops and straps make it easy to strap on aditional gear such as large support bags and tripods. The yolk and shoulder straps are very comfortable once you get it set up for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All Around BackpackI bought this backpack with the initial intention of using it for skiing. I have 5 kids, I needed something big enough I can stash snacks, kids drinks, beer for mom and Dad and still have room for multiple sweatshirts and the random "Dad, can you hold this?" articles without being overly bulky... this bag did great. Super comfortable and lots of logical space. The pockets off the waist belt are awesome. One drawback I didn't love is the load lifters... the bag seems to hang kind of slack off of these and I haven't figured out yet how to best fit this.I am certain I will be using this back a ton and am glad I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile 4 Season+ PackThis is the best day pack I have owned. Purchased it as a 4 season day with extra room for winter/volcano hikes. Turns out that it is also an excellent SAR pack. Loops for ice tools and poles. Daisy chain to clip a hat, helmet or gloves. Well balanced, compact and comfortable on long days off trail. Disappears on my back. The trizip allows easy access with one zip to pull a water bottle, two zips to top load or three zips to access the whole pack. Love the internal storage sleeves for bottles and the hip belt pockets for snacks and small essentials. Durable and well built without being overbuilt. Seriously great pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Was skeptical.I wondered if Mystery Ranch were just trendy, hyped up over priced packs as they don’t look like anything special. I bought the Scree 32 mainly because I wanted an orange 30ish litre pack as I hike the rocky mountains and being visible may save my life one day. After using it to scramble up numerous cliff faces,I am amazed how the pack did not move and the weight felt like I had nothing on my back, even though the pack was loaded with about 15 lbs of gear. After using Osprey and Gregory packs for years, I think I have a new favourite brand. Looking at larger packs in the line up for multi day excursions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My last day pack!I live in the mountains at 8,000 ft and take lots of day trips, many times fly fishing. This pack is set up very nice to carry fly rods securely in the deep exterior side pockets. The pack is very comfortable when adjusted, two top pockets can carry a lot of items for quick access, hip belt pockets are adequately sized for smaller items. Getting used to the 3-zip access which I really like. Waist belt is very easy to adjust, and comfortable. You could do an overnighter with careful packing. Longest day hike so far was 14 miles in Grat Basin N.P. and no issues whatsoever. I use a Mystery Ranch Scepter 50l pack for SAR and the quality of that pack is why I went with the Scree.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mystery Ranch Scree Is The Perfect DaypackI've have the 2019 Mystery Ranch Scree for commuting, bird hunting, fly fishing, travel and day hiking. I love the 3-ZIP design's convenience. The two top pockets are great for my sunglasses and other small items. The main compartment is easy to organize with two slot pockets inside for items such as a spotting scope, tripod or water filter. The hydration pocket holds my 2L Platy perfectly and the hose is easy to rig. Outside pockets and compression straps are great for a fly rod, water bottles or a rifle or shotgun. Trekking poles secure easily in the provided loops. The new waist belt pockets are great for my folding knife and a few extra shells or a snack bar. I cannot think of anything I'd change on this pack. It adjusts easily for fit, carries 30 lbs like it isn't even there and its narrow profile makes the carry stable and lets you get into and through tight spaces without worry. This Mystery Ranch Scree 32L pack is the best I've used and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every pennyI’ve known of MR for a while, and have used their wildland packs with great experiences. I happened to be in Bozeman, MT and went by the headquarters and got to tour the factory and meet some of the crew. I was blown away by the care and quality of their work in person. I ordered the Scree and couldn’t be any happier. Worth every penny and I can’t wait to Get this pack to Machu Picchu in the spring.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good pack but.....I picked this pack up a month ago. Solid construction and the features it has are pretty solid. The tri zip way it opens is a great feature. The waist belt feels like an after thought and doesn’t provide much support. The picks on the waist belt are only big enough to hold a small snack or power bar. I will take the belt off a deuter pack and put it on this one and get rid of the original if I get the chance. This is a small point but there is no way to hang a water bladder in the pack. My wife has an osprey pack and it has a loop above the sleeve to hook the bladder. Seems like an easy fix so why not add it? Overall the pack is sturdy and will hold up but the belt design and lack of a bladder loop are a bummer.
