Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bozeman Built is BestMy first Bozeman Built pack was a Fixed 1DAP which is my EDC for work. Prior to that I owned a scree and a Crest. All these packs are great and serve different functions for me. But there is something indescribable in the Bozeman Built packs. That lil extra something. So the Summit 26 is a great hiking pack for me. It excels at day hikes or simple over nighters. Great pack build. I like the summit because it’s not over-organized. I like the simple approach of a main bag. Really like the internal side picks… so nice for holding 1-liter water bottles. The orange liner works great and makes finds Ng things inside super easy. I’m 6-4” and I like how it Carrie’s on my back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bag WizardryI must admit that the shape of the bag, and the not so thorough reviews I saw left me worried about if I should or not, order the bag. First, the blue color is not bright or off-putting, it’s elegant and discrete. The shape had me worried of how it would carry on my back, it looked too squareish in photos and reviews, until I tried it and it was super comfortable and fully loaded it still managed to look sleek on my 6’0 250lbs frame. The bag exceeded my expectations, it will become my personal item choice for those budget airlines that restrict bag sizes, and it shines as an edc bag as well. I’m glad that I didn’t jump on the black or cam colors, this is the blue for the grown ups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Higher version of prizefighterIn my opinion, this is a higher version of the prize fighter. The Prize Fighter has a lot of organizers and a well thought out PC sleeve. The Summit 26 has fewer organizers, but you can customize your own organizers in the velcro section. The back pocket inside the back pocket can hold a wallet, books, etc., making it easy to take them in and out.I especially like the side webbing and the space inside for a hydro flask, etc.I'm glad that the prize fighter had webbing on the side and a divider to keep bottles from falling over.Best of all, it's Made in USA and a limited edition product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rather Simple For The CostI have several MR bags, pouches, and such. Never had a failure, all USA made minus some recent packing cube purchases. I opted to spend the $300 plus on this bag and must admit I am not super excited. Shoulder straps are thin, the foam on the back is thin and is sewn odd. One side sticks out while the other is sewn in. The front pocket works but organization won't be very easy. I'll use it, but it does not feel the same as my 3 day assault pack in terms of life span and usefulness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice updateThe main reason I was interested in this bag was the interior gusseting for a water bottle. Yes, having a dedicated pocket on the exterior would have been easier to access, but I don't mind because overall it's a great bag. While the updates are not many, they do make the Summit more 'modern' in my opinion. The hook & loop on the front interior allows for great customization and the angled pocket on the front exterior is surprisingly useful as a quick access pocket. The extra tablet or document pocket on the front of the laptop/water bladder sleeve is also a nice welcome addition that adds to simple, yet effective organization. The extra webbing on the front & sides are great for MOLLE attachment gear as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed, honestly.Overall, bag felt floppy and unstable. Shoulder straps did not fit my shoulder/chest circumference. Bottom of the shoulder straps came down a little above my nipples which wouldn’t serve me with any considerable load. Love the high vis internal finish and the front organization. The horizontally split front packet is a great call compared to a lateral zip. Internal water bottle pocket created from the front and back panel connectors was well executed. My laptop flopped around a lot. (Macbook Air). Harness system felt small for any man over 6’1 200lbs. I love your company and I love your values, just didn’t align with this pack. I sold it for a little less than cost to Brian Payne in the carryology FB Group. My name is Rocky Raccoon on Facebook. I had #139 of 250.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Worthy Replacement To My Old Kletterwerks FlipPROS1. Made in Bozeman with top quality materials and outstanding workmanship.2. Thanks for adding mesh against the back. (The cordura on my old Kletterwerks Flip, combined with desert sweat, has been like sandpaper to most of my shirts.)3. I love the internal gussets to hold water bottles. Genius.4. The internal hook-n-loop accepts admin panels/pouches.5. Not as boxy as photos suggest.6. Spacious for 26 liters... plenty of space for day hiking and minimal travel.7. Thanks for offering this in Midnight Blue... the same color as my old Flip.CON? My only suggestions would be to add compression straps or molles toward the top of each side (or even another line of daisy webbing along the front) to allow for additional external add-ons... and perhaps some option to add a simple/removable hipbelt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality, handsome and ready 4 travel/hiking!Great size for school, work, travel or day hiking. The colors pop, but not overly busy. A great pack that will last a lifetime! For travel, you might want some extra organization aids inside as it comes with minimal pockets/pouches.Stitching is spectacular and should serve many years of service. For price, it is high, but quality and style makes it worth it!
