Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve from Great summit/climbing packEven though it’s not designed for it I bought this bag for climbing. I cut the camel back pocket out and removed the rigid frame sheet(left the foam pad). Got the bag down to 22oz. Similar sized, ultralight climbing bags are only half a pound-ish lighter. That makes the ME pretty light considering how durable it is. It’s also much more comfortable than similar sized climbing bags. I fit a full trad rack, harness, shoes, chalk bag, puffy, shell, Nalgene, first aid kit and snacks in it with careful packing. You can easily attach an ice axe or crampons with a little webbing. I like the Vice color because it’s very visible in the alpine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beetroots from Solid pack for daily commuteI use it for the office and works great, looks great while discreet, and 18l format is perfect for laptop, docs and gym without being too bulky.Only place for improvement for me would be a removable sternum strap, as it’s not required on most days and ends up tangling on clothing/headphones more often.

Rated 4 out of 5 by None from Good for edcI purchased this pack as an edc backpack. It definitely fills that role. No unnecessary organization. Feels well made, but perhaps a bit overpriced for what you get. I was slightly annoyed that it does not include the strap of molle underneath that the larger size comes with. Fits well for a 5'9" 160lb male. Rides just above the belt line in the small of the back (which is good). Although, if you have wide shoulders the straps might feel a little tight around the neck. My only major complaint was having to pay $15 shipping on an item of this expense. However, it did arrive as expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by koz574 from great fit and designI'm very pleased with my Urban Assault bag. Purchased mainly for bicycle. commuting, its the right size for my change of cloths, lunch, bike lock and a repair kit. Top pocket great for phone and wallet. The full length zipper is brilliant make for easy access to all contents without emptying everything out. I've tested the durability and weather resistance in all conditions and its holds up very well, finally a bag that I don't need to pack my clothes in a ziplock in order to have a dry shirt at work for the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JOPh from Great little EDC pack, few upgrades would be niceI recently bought this pack after much deliberation between it, the UA 21, and Robo Flip. Ultimately the smaller size is what I wanted for short trips and errands around town. Overall I love the simple, clean design, but think it could benefit from a couple small improvements... First, there are no attachment points on the outside of the pack. I really wish MR would add two strips of vertical webbing up either side of the front of the pack. This would allow to attach a bike light to, and add your own elastic cord to hold items on the outside if wanted, while keeping the design clean and simple. Secondly, as another has mentioned, I really wish the chest strap was removable. I never use those things, and it's kind of annoying to have on there. Now the good - The materials are high quality and seem very durable, as with all MR. I really appreciate how they keep the amount of stitching/thread on the outside of the pack to a minimum. The pack straps are a nice firmer foam that isn't too flimsy when you load it up with some heavy electronics. I love that they kept the large zipper pulls, I won't buy any of their packs with out them (where they just your rope/cord). The inside pockets are great and handy, through the stitching along their zippers looks a little cheaper than the rest of the pack (low stitch-count). I wish they offered more colors in this one like they do the 21, but overall it's an almost perfect little companion. Fits me fine and I'm 6'2".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moto from Right sizedQuality backpack for traveling. As a tech consultant this can fit a 16” MacBook Pro, but it will just hang out of the pocket a few inches. It has enough pockets for pens, badges, etc since I use a tech organizer for cords, usb drives and various Apple dongles. the pack is comfortable, well made and suited to be a light and fast bag.
