Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large EDC bagI bought this to replace an old 21L bag I had been using daily for the past 7 years. I wanted a bit more space and this is great. I am able to carry all my work toys plus a change of clothes (last pic) and still have enough space for a laptop, paperwork, and even fit 3 jumbo bags of candy in with everything else. Looking forward to taking it out for day hikes. If you have a hammock this could definitely be an overnight camp bag, and I think a water bladder could slip into the laptop sleeve. Very good construction and love the way you can either open up from the top or easily splay the entire thing open. Good organization pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nailed it!I'm a gear guy and it takes a lot to impress me, but MR constantly does. So far I've been on 3 trips with it, 2 domestic (US) and one overseas. The organizational features are perfect. I can carry work-related documents, laptop and tablet in the "rear" section, leaving the main Y section for a rain jacket, light pullover, trauma kit, boo-boo kit, TQ, admin items snacks etc. The 2 low profile water bottle sleeves are surprisingly accessible even then the bag is full. The load lifters and weight distribution are excellent. The slick nature of many of MR's products means an easy fit under the seat on an any size aircraft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for WorkSolid performer and very comfortable. I have used a military grade ASAP for a long time and love it. This is a similar design, but a bit larger. Good internal storage options for working accessories, and the laptop storage is well padded and accommodating. Good pack for business aesthetics and a two day overnight trip. As stated in other reviews, the pack does not stand on its own, but that is not an issue in my estimation. Stows well under an airplane seat and is comfortable to wear for long periods. It handles the weather well with the sealed zippers and is everything that I have come to expect for quality in a Mystery Ranch pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for travelArrived just before my 1 week trip to Latin America. Fits under the seat on the airplane just fine. External and internal sleeves were convenient for accessories and the external zipper pocket for my laptop made going through security a breeze. Held a ton of gear, including smaller items in the pouches. Zippers were secure and sturdy. Backpack shedded water and contents were protected. Loved the slick and minimal look and lack of fussy external straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact Commuter Bag I Was looking ForI spent weeks trying to locate a commuter bag that was NOT Tactical - floppy - sloppy or had that "Turtle" look to it. I wanted organizational pockets - a dedicated laptop sleeve separate from the main compartment - document slots - and a way to carry my SS Coffee mug on the outside - and the cup holder had to be tight and not a stretchy baggy add on. I accidentally found this item while reading up on the MR UA 21. Somewhere buried deep in the google search was a video of a gentleman at a trade show showing off the NEW MR UA-24 and the MR 2 Day Assault pack. I was able to find the page for the UA-24 on the MR Web-Site - All colors out Of Stock. Dangit! I asked them to notify me when they had more stock - and here we are on 07-19 with bag in hand!Overall inspection went very well. Stitching is excellent. Hardware is excellent. Layout is excellent.Loaded it up with the Every Day Carry items and I am quite pleased. I attached some pictures that may help some folks gauge the dimensions a little better.Notes:The Sternum strap has 5 adjustment points.Main compartment has 2 water bottle / small umbrella sleeves.Main compartment has 2 Zippered Mesh Pouches up top. 4.5" x 5".The big pockets on the interior organizer will hold my Galaxy Note 8 with a thick single layer otter Box Cover. The 2 Pen Pockets are nice and big.The outer water bottle pockets will definitely hold 32 oz Nalgene Bottles - Plastic and Stainless although the stainless ones are VERY Snug.Surprisingly the Interior Bottle Pockets will also hold both Nalgene types. There is a nice Separate Zippered Sunglasses / Keys pouch on the top of the bag.My laptop has an outside diagonal dimension of 15.5". PLENTY Of room in the laptop pouch.Big Document pouch in the laptop section is 18 x 11 - Swallows loaded school folders.Small document / tablet pouch in the laptop section cannot take folders - but 8.5 x 11 docs fit.The document pouch in the main compartment easily stows loaded school folders. All in all I am extremely pleased. I cannot wait to give it a test run next week. Please let me know if anyone has any questions.Dan R.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and Well Built Pack!I purchased this pack a couple weeks ago and love it! It really fits well and conforms to my back better than any pack I've owned previously. It does feel bigger than other 24L packs I've owned, but that could be because it is a bit heavier and has more material. I love the versatility of it as I think it is a great pack for my New York City commutes, as well as traveling and trail hiking. Just be aware if you want to use the outside pockets it does take space away from the inside of the pack as they do not expand, but it also means it is very durable. I feel that most outside pockets that do expand tend to be the first things that tear on a pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pack. Solid updateI bought it for a friend this Xmas since we were heading to New Zealand and he was looking for a good carry on/EDC to get through the trip and beyond. This was a great option. He loved it and it seems to address the challenge I always had slipping laptop in and out of my 21 when loaded up. It was his new favorite pack. Still fit under the seats and the extra water bottle pockets are excellent. Personally I love the low profile of the 21 and this seems to thicken it up a little, might be nice to see a couple sinch straps up top for times it’s not padded out to lower the profile but as is it still kicks my Oakley to the curb. Great job on the update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Travel / Commute / Work BagI've been using a few different bags before I settled on this one. I was using Thule, GoRuck, Arc'teryx, Tumi, and 5.11. All are great bags and have great features but just never had everything that I wanted in one. I'm DOD so I was looking for one that didn't stand out as a "military" bag and I also didn't want an office style bag. This fits perfectly between that criteria. I also wanted a water bottle holder on the side, which most brands don't do. I use this bag for deployments, TDYs, vacations, and everyday use. Enough pockets and space to fit most things you need in the airport or on the road. Couldn't be happier with this bag.
