I would have given it 5 stars if it had the waist belt webbing to attach accessories like other models and as well a waterproof waist pocket is a must iso people can use it for cellphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cptrout from Great Pack!This is the first backpacking pack I've purchased in over 20 years and I sure am happy with the decision. I got fitted for the pack and was sized as an xs/s because I have a short torso. The waist belt fit fine, despite the small size (I'm generally a women's size 8 or 8 Tall). The pack's chest straps and pockets were a great feature. Because of my short torso, I was able to put a small runner's water bottle in one of the pockets and access it with my mouth only--hands got to stay on my trekking poles. It was very convenient. The sleeping bag pocket is fairly small and required that I rethink what bag I was taking but that was only an issue because I believe in extra warm bags. A footed sleeping quilt--10 degree--fit great, along with a small bag for my dog. The body of the pack was a good size and the outside organizational loops and other pockets carried everything I needed. Weirdly, for a 3 day trip, I had room to spare. Very happy with the purchase and excited to put many more miles and adventures on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Naomi from for "bad" backsSeveral years ago, I fractured a lower lumbar region bone and could not walk among other un desirable things...I was told my active days were done. "NO" I emphatically said. I would find a way, no matter how long it took. (I am a 72 female, about 118 lbs, 5'6") Still not 100%, I rehabbed with a progressively heavier pack daily for about 2 yrs and did a lot of exercises. I invested in an UL pack, thinking a light pack would help. No it abolutely did not. All UL packs, at least those I used, with their unstructured design, hung exactly on my painful part, making me cross.Although this is not the lightest pack, my researched contents are. So, this pack works well, distributing the load better, keeping content weight off fracture. It also has a zipper, opening my contents allowing me to either see or pack stuff. there is can internal frame and load lifters; the 2 chest straps really help me.The dedicated zippered area at the bottom for my sleeping system is very thoughtful, further increasing volume for packed stuff inside.I would recommend this item to any one, especially to those with back issues; this pack seems to help me. It is pricey, but being able to long hike is priceless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ereza from worth it!i hav3 3-4 ultralight bags, some are more expensive then this one. The bridger is by far superior, it is comfortable and although on paper is much heavier then a UL, you don't feel it. totally worth it! i am so convinced, i am selling my UL bags
