Harnessing Style
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The one I was waiting for !The Y shaped zip-opening a stroke of genius, great design (i.e. pockets on top and pockets inside with and without mesh, compression straps, frame and harness), the right size for daily usage, no doubt at all about manufacturing quality one sees it and feels it, easy adjustments and so comfortable one barely notices it while carrying, lots of molle outside (not used but looking so cool).Buzzing around and having great success when showing off ;-) A great Mystery Ranch backpack. For next version wishing wider attachment span of lower compression strap, one additional compression strap maybe, and a couple of inside straps to attach stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good EDCI bought this bag for my EDC and it does well. It's not heavy but still has superior materials and build quality. I have used it hiking twice. On one of those events, my 2 year old hurt his leg when he fell and he didn't want to walk anymore. I am using hiking lightly. There is a flatish spot we let the little ones walk around. since him walking was no longer an option, I had to dump my gear, or aleast secure it with paracord to the outside using the webbing. I put my todler in the back and left the middle zipper open with 2 retaining straps secured to hold him in for the mile-ish walk back. I love it, my wife loves it, and now I have a toddler that tries to play hide and seek in it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smaller brother of 3DAP + EDC featuresI love most features of this pack - has lightly padded laptop pocket WITH quick access from the side (great design, love to see TSA's reaction), plenty of internal pockets, easy adjustment, and new yoke & frame design. What's not my fav - MOLLE everywhere...considering this is supposed to be an EDC urban pack, not sure why MR added so many MOLLE??? I'd think the daisy chain from old gen 3DAP would suffice...but that's just me. This pack is a lot lighter than 3DAP and just a little smaller. Good size for EDC and also for the overnight travel. Fits perfectly under the economy class seat as well. I think MR nailed this, I have ASAP and 3DAP, now with addition of 2DAP I have something for every occasions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TWO-DAPI Love the construction and execution. My favorite part is the seemingly bottomless top pocket on the lid. I have a complaint however. There is a rigid portion of the pack at the bottom of the laptop area that digs into the back while carrying. I have not as of yet been able to come up with a fix. Perhaps on a smaller person this would not be an issue. But for me it may be a deal breaker as I cant carry it for long without irritation. I use this a my daily work/ computer bag. I travel extensively for work and must at times live out of a single bag. It does provide enough space for my laptop and gear plus a few days of clothes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant quality, Goldilocks size, for EDC&trip.I just got the black version(L/XL) from a retailer. the bag has a quality feel to it. The padding on the shoulder straps are nice and thick compared to some of their other lower priced packs. It's a nice offering between the ASAP and 3-day assault pack with just the right amount of storage. Here are some initial observations. I will be taking this pack out on my next trip at the end of the month and will update this review after the trip.Pros:1) Excellent build quality. Materials, zippers, stitching all what I expect from MR.2) The adjustable yolk harness is brilliant. Took me a little bit to adjust it but feels very comfortable once done. 3) The side pockets are also made from the same fabric as the back pack which is great and has an elastic band to secure the contents. 4) Easily accessible top storage areas.5) Side accessible laptop/ipad slot is brilliant. I had no trouble storing and accessing 12.9" ipad pro in a UAG case stored in a neoprene sleeve.6) Side and front compression straps are great for securing contents in the main pack. 7) Lower back has additional padding for a comfortable fit.Cons:1) The waist belt is just a nylon belt, wish it was padded and wider like the 3DASP.Or we had an option to buy a padded one.2) A built in velcro retainer for the slack. I realize I can buy this separately but its more convenient to get them with the pack. 3) Wish the bottom had additional reinforcements to help reduce wear. 4) No air channels for ventilation. I don't know if this will be a problem, will update after my trip. Certainly worth the asking price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking forThis bag for me is the perfect size as it is large enough to use as a stand alone weekend or minimalist travel and camping bag while not being too large to use daily. If you travel frequently by air you will appreciate the computer access zipper which is well designed, as well as its dimensions which are just small enough to fit in conventional airline underseat storage. The bag is the most well made bag of it's type I have seen and I feel is more than worth the price. It is also very comfortable to carry as a backpack when heavily loaded. I highly recommend it for rural, urban, or long haul travel use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very user friendly organizationThis bag is just super intuitive to use and great for traveling. The Trizip makes accessing items in the main compartment fast and easy. The materials feel very robust and long lasting. The way the bag is engineered it feels like it keeps the weight close to your body instead of just hanging off it. The pockets just make sense to you when you start to use the bag, it’s just the right amount of options. Great pack and I have already recommended it to a colleague.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Size for my EDC needs!I've always carried an EDC bag in this size but last year I'd gone to lugging to much stuff around so to break myself of that I bought a Street Fighter and carried it for a year. It really helped me learn what I needed and what I didnt. I'd been on the prowl for a new bag and the 2DAP fits the bill perfectly. Charging brick, meds, electrolyte powder, change of clothes essentials, spare mags, knife, small dry bag, keys, pens, spare holster is my basic loadout. Well without being too clunky all that fits with plenty of room to spare for a quick day trip, a full change of clothes to go to the gym, my supplements, and Ice Shaker bottle. I had a Multicam Stick-it that I attached and use often. It makes it super easy to have additional exterior storage for a pair of shoes or jacket/hoodie if you're expecting the weather to change. I'm very pleased and my Dad has already bought one. Thanks for making a great EDC bag at a reasonable price. The one thing I would like to have on the bag that doesn't come standard is loop velcro sewn onto the front of the hydration/laptop sleeve pouch so that I could use that for further securing things inside the bag.
