ATM CWF

Extensively field-tested in the Arctic.

BUILT FOR THE COLD: All features were designed with frigid temperatures in mind and for use with gloved or mittened hands. Materials, trims and components were all thoughtfully considered and tested for the extreme cold, down to –60°F, to ensure their resilience and operational functionality in the cold.

CASE STUDY:

This project was undertaken by MYSTERY RANCH with a request from a northern SOF unit needing an extreme cold-weather-specific pack. We followed our Special Projects process of listening to the customer's needs, developing a concept, designing a prototype, then field testing and revising. This project led us to Norway with personnel from several SOF units, across open fields pulling tires and finally to the high north. Our final prototype went to the Arctic multiple times with MYSTERY RANCH Ambassador and polar explorer John Huston for extensive field testing. With John's feedback, we dialed in the alpha prototype and delivered to the world the ATM CWF, or as we call it, the ARCTIC RUCK.
