The Wildland Bedroll is made from two canvas materials, a 100% waterproof 10oz nylon/ polyester blend bottom and a weather resistant and windproof polyester top. Each material was chosen for its technical properties, the polyester canvas top is breathable, preventing condensation common in other sleeping systems. The nylon/ polyester blend bottom protects your sleeping system from moisture and punctures, creating a bedroll that can withstand the harshest elements. Whether you're spiked out on a ridgeline or back in fire camp, rest assured that your bedroll will keep you protected.

  • The material for the top piece was chosen due to its ability to regulate moisture, preventing condensation common in Gore-Tex bivy sacks. It also has a high UV/mildew resistance. The feel of this material is much less abrasive that other materials, making it a more comfortable option if you are sleeping in the bedroll alone with no sleeping bag or blanket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The “Do it all” bedrollI was issued one of the first bedrolls from Mystery Ranch thanks to the sales team over in MT. I have used this bedroll 19 times since I’ve owned it since November. It’s by far the best bedroll I have ever owned. My background is wildland fire, forestry, and cowboying.I used it for 4 nights straight during a late season branding. We do it old school in Nevada, I’m talking dutch oven cooking, chuck wagon, and sleeping on the ground. I was amazed that the bedroll is made of super durable lightweight canvas that also happens to be waterproof. The fact that It can pack very small and tight compared to other bedrolls is a huge plus! I’m not small by any means as I’m 6’10, 260lbs. I fit comfortably with room to spread out. It didn’t feel like a mummy bag where you can only sleep on your back. I’m a side sleeper and having enough room to move around is always a huge priority when choosing the right sleeping gear. Another huge plus this bedroll offers is a blowup pad. Not only does the bedroll come with the pad, it’s also insulated! That means no need for a tarp on the ground under you for insulation from the dirt! This was probably my favorite feature of the bedroll.I used it snow camping last week, and stuffed my 0 degree bag inside and slept super comfortable! I didn’t receive any moisture inside the bedroll from the elements, and I stayed 100% dry and warm.I highly encourage all firefighters, outdoorsman, and cowboys to buy one of these. They’re priced in the same category for other bedrolls, you just happen to get truly the best quality from Mystery Ranch and the most bang for your buck!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wildland BedrollRecently purchased the wildland bedroll to stage with my search and rescue overnight bag. Everything seems great except the stitching on the patch was missed at the top so I can stick my fingers behind it. Not a huge deal as it is just cosmetic but surprised QC didn't catch that. Overall happy with my purchase.
