Rated 3 out of 5 by wildebeest406 from UndecidedI just received this and I can't decide if I'll keep it or not. I have a OnePlus 8 Pro with a very slim case on. It measures at 6.75" and I have to really finesse the zippers to get it to close. There's NO room for a beefier case at all. 7" is the measurement is of the outside of the pocket, not the actual space inside. It would be difficult to access your device quickly for maps etc which to me was the whole point. If I have to fight with it every time I want my phone out I might as well just put it in the the Large Forager Pocket. The quality and features are great as always but they missed the mark considering the average size of modern phones.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jeff42150 from Too small and the rig attachment is questionable1. The pouch is about 1/8" - 1/4" too narrow to fit most cell phones with some sort of weather-proof case. It fits, but it's a really tight squeeze and there's a lot of fumbling around to get the phone out in a hurry if needed (911/medical issues)2. I have concerns that the 'straps' that hold this holster to the line-gear will actually hold the holster to the belt when my gear gets tossed into and out of a rig. Some type of d-ring arrangement would have been a more secure design3. I can see the elastic strap that closes the pouch losing its elasticity after a couple of seasons, if not hooked on something first. Again, a plastic clip or a d-ring configuration may have been a better design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Klindsa1 from Perfect additionPhone in my pocket while backpacking/hunting/scouting wasn’t cutting it anymore. Tried wedging into my bino harness but it didn’t work. Bought this pouch to add to my selway and it’s great. iPhone 11 with thin otter box case fits perfectly inside. Bino tripod adapter fit nicely in outside bungee pouch. In a downpour I might put my phone in my bag or in my rain jacket but I got this bag pretty well soaked with rain and dew and was happily surprised to find no water had made its way inside. Bonus points cause it closes EASILY with one hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DToney13 from Great phone carrier for hunting or hiking!Reviews were iffy on this product about sizing and what phones can fit in it. I have the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a Crave Dual Guard case on it and it fits with room to spare. The S24 Ultra isn't a small phone but it isn't tight at all. If you have an Otterbox Defender or similar case it may not fit but you would just have to try first. It also fits in the bungee compartment but the lid doesn't cover it completely but it's nice that it does if I don't want to unzip the pouch in the woods. Typical Mystery Ranch quality (which is phenomenal). I got this to mount to my bino harness so I don't have to carry my phone in a pocket. The buckskin color is very nice and goes good with coyote brown bino harnesses. It's not a complete match but I don't really care.

Rated 1 out of 5 by OogieM from Actual dimensions not even closeI've been looking for a replacement belt pouch to carry my wallet, notepad and phone. I like a single zippered pocket and this looked ideal. The stated dimensions 8"x5"x1.75" would be large enough for my phone in a protective case and all the items I carry. I verified by checking how dimensions are calculated. However this is what I got. If the description was accurate I'd have never purchased it. I'd love the same thing in the dimensions as described.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cory from Good Idea; Outdated SizeTypical Mystery Ranch quality and features, but it needs to be about a 1/2" taller and maybe 1/4" wider.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Phil from Small!Typical MR construction; it really is built very well. Unfortunately it’s too small for most modern phones/cases. Double check the interior measurements to ensure a good fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by No Trail from The best belt pocket out there...butI have tried many bel pockets and most fall apart fairly Quickly. The build quality is excellent. I don't care much for the bungie pocket on the front, though. My main complaint is the straps that affix the pocket to your belt. These may work well on a military style pack or whatever, but will slip out of place if you use a belt on a pack or pants. I had to place some heavy cord through the whole setup to keep them from popping out. I have a horizontal pouch that has a much better belt loop design that will not cause you to loose your expensive tech. I also added a cord security loop to clip to a point.
