They can be used for other things too, like attaching a tracking pole, hat, or other light objects to your pack. It’s Velcro, think outside the box. Different size/thickness would be a nice option. Luckily I’m allowed to use scissors. Yes, one wrap does the same thing and is way cheaper, but you just spent $200+ on a backpack, why cheap out now? Flex those MR keepers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brian from Poor designI used the MR Mule one time To haul out a a 1/4 elk and 4 of the 6 web keepers ( pieces of velcro) fell out. I asked customer service for replacements and was told “ you can buy a 10 pack online at our store” I can’t believe they are not kept in somehow. I have this pack to my cousin and purchased an outdoorsmans pack.

I have purchased these on several occasions and any time I buy a new pack, bag, or anything with small webbing I return to order these. If you like your equipment to look ramshackle, then don't buy these, but if a clean organized pack that doesn't get hung up is a must, load up on these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from One of the small details often overlookedThese little velcro pieces are very useful to keep all the loose ends on ruck straps coiled up and neat so they won't drag on the muddy ground or get tangled up when you are putting your pack on and off. one of those things you forget when they are there but quickly realize when they are not.
