Rated 5 out of 5 by signpost films from One to rule them allI have had all but one MR X Carryology collabs except Unicorn V1. Loved the dragon V1 but it the water bottle pockets were way too funky. Cerberus was rad and I wanted it to be my EDC but it was just way too tight on the interior. Unicorn V2 had great features again just to smal for my EDC. DRAGON V2 shows up and just hits every need perfect. The interior size is dialed and I loved my V1 organization set up so I felt at home. The beaver tail would have been cool if you could store it in the bag but I dig how easy it is to remove and replace it. I only run this pack now. My favorite bag to date!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Retired and Traveling from Expensive but worth itI bought this bag during the launch and received it last week. My first impression was this is a well designed and constructed with premium materials. The interior has lots of space to fit a set of the mystery 3 packing cubes. The hardware and zippers used were of high quality. I was planning to use this bag as a personal carryon to complement the Rover 30 but it’s too long to fit under the airline seat. Still replacing my Tumi backpack with the dragon 2.0 as my EDC on daily commutes and travel. Love the patch!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chico9 from Pretty disappointingI loved my unicorn and scree from MR so I was hoping this would be just as helpful, but it might just be the last collaboration pack I buy from them. It's pretty heavy for everyday carry, and trying to 4 hour hike with it in the desert proved to be extremely uncomfortable. I couldn't look up without the top of the pack hitting my head and the back panel, no matter how well I tried to fit it to me, just wouldn't stay put. Will most likely be returning/reselling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Truckbag beyond from Better than I expected. To preface, I am reasonably new to the whole pack game as it stands today. I recently picked up a Coulee30 that honestly really blew me away with the ergonomics alone. 2-3 weeks later, enter the Dragon! I really did not want to spend the cash on another pack, but there was something about this one calling me. I got in line and bit the bullet. I was really less than enthused with the pricing, but it came in right under the ceiling I had set. The pack arrived yesterday, and I must say I personally find it to be Outstanding! It is just a super robust tool for my daily necessities and possibles. Great materials, and construction, thoughtful layout design, nice color. Ranger Green seems to be as green as it can be without being grey, ha, if that makes sense. I like the colorway! Since I had just gotten the Coulee and was as impressed with it as I was, I was concerned as to how MR was going to provide for the price difference between it and the Dragon 2.0. Could the materials and additional pocketing make enough difference to justify the more than 2X price? Simply put, yes. Immediately upon opening the bag and feeling them comparatively, its a resounding yes. New daily carry bag! Thanks MR

Rated 4 out of 5 by Griffin from A $400+ bag it is not... But it IS pretty nice.I purchased this bag because it will fit the needs I was looking for exactly. For me It combines two bags that I currently own into one. A mystery ranch robo flip (which is a nice little work / commuter / laptop bag but has no adjustable yoke, rides my shirts up as I walk through the airport, and is a basic pack with little eye for organizational details) and a mystery ranch coulee 25 (solid small pack, not set up for laptops / commuting, doesn't stand on its own when fully loaded). The Dragon 2.0 is small enough that you can fit it under the seat in front of you on an airplane, but large enough for all the things you would need on a business trip; laptop, tablet, e-reader, headphones, charging cables, headlamp, water bottle, snacks, lightweight cold weather top, wet weather jacket, etc... It is made with sturdy, heavy duty materials that appear as though they will stand up to hard use. It is well constructed and I appreciate the small details that went into designing this pack. A couple of things for you to consider... - I wish the exterior bottle pockets on either side were deeper / covered higher to give me more confidence in having a larger water bottle in there without a side strap to cinch it down.- $400+ and we don't get a rain fly? - Removable Stick It with PALS tabs should be able to be stored with the pack when not in use. - The waist belt is worthless for a guy with a 34-36" waistline. At least it is removable.- Hidden pockets on either side are great for stashing your cell phone / wallet on the move.- I'm 6'2", 220# and I've adjusted the yoke on this thing to its max allowable setting. It will carry well, but a sizing option for larger guys that doesn't max out the available settings would be nice.- Would like to see a harness with shoulder straps that contain stretch pockets large enough to accommodate a phone, so that you can store that thing you use most front and center where it is easily accessible. Is this pack worth $450 shipped with tax? NO...Am I going to return it / sell it? Probably not. End of the day... A great albeit thoroughly overpriced Mystery Ranch pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Brett from Great EDC bag with minor quibblesThis is a stylish, useful, comfortable pack with a lot of great features that are complimentary to both the things that I routinely carry and the manner in which I carry them. The partial clamshell design is great and the Futura harness is, as always, adaptable and supremely capable. The Aquaguard zippers deserve a nod as both smooth and easy to use, particularly when compared to the previous Carrology colab pack, the Unicorn 2.0 (on my example of the Unicorn 2.0, the zippers are substantially less smooth). For EDC purposes, the general layout of the Dragon 2.0 is more agreeable than the Unicorn 2.0. This is particularly true of the water bottle pockets, which are great on the Dragon 2.0.On to the minor quibbles: First, the previous iteration of the Dragon Carryology has fixed but stow-able versions of the Stick-It beavertail and the waist-belt. I prefer this configuration. The previous version of the Stick-It has less overt webbing and a dedicated storage location. The current iteration is removable, but this then forces the user to find somewhere to stow the thing when not in use. I've tried stashing it into one of the hidden pocket garages, but this eats into bottle pocket utility. Just folding the thing up and plopping it into the bottom of the pack seems to work a bit better, but it's untidy. The permanently attached version is also more durable due to having fewer potential failure points. Also, the waist belt is pointless. The Dragon 1.0's fixed hip belt features a traditional Mystery Ranch style stow-able load bearing belt. For those really loading the bag down, the load bearing hip belt is both more useful and also more durable. The 2" detachable waist belt is pointless. I took it off and deposited it into the hidden zip pockets, where it will likely remain forever. Those minor quibbles aside, this is a stellar collaboration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TexMcD from Mystery Ranch Satisfies AgainI’m a big a fan of all things Mystery Ranch and I bought this as a combo laptop/ carry bag. It does not disappoint as it has ample space and pockets for my laptop, notebook, business cards, and of course and access pocket for my EDC. I was apprehensive about using this for business purposes but it’s working like a champ!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Noirxiii from Love this bagThis bag is incredibly well made and the full Futura harness is so much better than the one I have on my 2 Day Assault. The materials are absolutely top notch and this thing is built like a tank.I'm excited to use this as my only bag for a week long trip coming up as I was amazed this fit everything I needed including my camera, laptop chargers game systems and 6 days of clothes. The only negative is that I wish this was a bit less expensive as I would have bought 2
