At Mystery Ranch, we respect your right to keep your personal information private. We wrote this Privacy Policy to make sure you understand the type of information we collect, when and from where we collect it, how we use it, who we disclose it to, and finally your rights and choices with respect to it. In sum, this Privacy Policy explains: 1) what information Mystery Ranch and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies (collectively, "Mystery Ranch", "we", or "us") collects and why we collect it; 2) how we use this information; 3) who we disclose it to and why and, 4) your rights and choices with respect to this information.

Please read this policy carefully!

We share email activity data with our marketing email provider (Klaviyo) to help them better target our marketing emails to our customers. Please note that we do not share text messaging opt-in data and consent with any third parties for their marketing purposes.

A "cookie" is a computer file that acts as an identification card for your computer to distinguish your browser from others and enable us to serve you better. For example, we use cookies to save products in your shopping cart while you browse our website and to track the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising campaigns. Similarly, a "web beacon" is a technology that can recognize specific cookies and convey information about that browser. A list of the cookies that we and our third parties and service providers have set on our Website, as well as the different categorizations of each cookie, can be found by clicking on the Cookie icon on the bottom right of our Website.

Links to Third Parties and Social Media

Our website may contain links to third-party online properties. Such third parties have their own policies that govern their collection, use, and disclosure of information. We suggest that you read their privacy policies to learn about their practices.

Social media provides tools that many of our customers use and enjoy, and we include links to various social media platforms on our websites. If you interact with these social media tools through our websites, your experience on those social media sites will be governed by the privacy and other policies of those sites. Keeping Your Personal Information Safe

At Mystery Ranch we understand that a privacy policy is only effective if we abide by the terms we have spelled out. To that end, we have endeavored to institute reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative measures to safeguard the security of your personal information. If you feel that your information isn’t safe or that we are not otherwise abiding by our own policies, please contact us immediately (contact information below).

However, when you do communicate with our customer service or privacy representatives via email or social media, these communications may not be encrypted or otherwise protected. For that reason, we ask that you do not include or share sensitive information via these communication channels.

Retention

We plan to retain your personal information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law. When we determine that we have no ongoing legitimate business need nor lawful legal ground to process your personal information, we will take steps to delete, anonymize, or aggregate it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will store your personal information until deletion is possible.

Mystery Ranch determines retention based primarily on the type of record being retained. However, because a particular category of personal information may appear in different types of records, each with different retention periods, it may not be possible to specify a universal retention period for each particular category of personal information. Instead, the criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

  • The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide the Services to you (for example, for as long as you have an account with us or keep using the Services);
  • Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or
  • Whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).

What’s Changed? Updates to our Privacy Policy.

Mystery Ranch may change our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post all changes to this webpage and may place a notification on our homepage. If you have provided us with your email address, we may also send you a notice. Unless we obtain your express consent, any significant policy changes will apply only to information collected after the new policy becomes effective. The new policy will not apply to any information collected under any earlier privacy policies. Please check this webpage for updates and changes regularly. As our privacy policies evolve, you will be able to access prior versions here.

Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can email, write, or call us. If you email us, you will receive an automated receipt confirming we received your inquiry. A real, live human will make every effort to respond within 2 business days of the date you submitted your inquiry.
