Load Sling
SKU: Load Sling
The LOAD SLING is the solution for carrying odd shaped, heavy loads. It ensures heavy loads are placed in the optimal location for transferring the load.
The LOAD SLING adds versatility and stability for non-standard loads.
The LOAD SLING is the most basic method to lash objects to the NICE Frame. This simple design has two adjustable straps to the top and each side. This simple design is reinforced with a carbon-fiberglass stay to maintain rigidity. Its wide range of adjustability will conform to any load you need to carry - from Jerry cans, chemical weed sprayers, bone-in quarters, meat bags, and shed antlers to pony kegs.
- The NICE Frame is a rigid yet dynamic system that moves with you. The frame consists of three vertical and three horizontal carbon fiber stays and a full fabric panel between the stays that absorbs shock and increases the flexibility of the frame. This patented construction allows the frame to flex with your body, resulting in top-down load transfer to comfortably carry heavy loads. The Futura Yoke easily macro adjusts to the torso length allowing the proper amount of stand-off between the back and frame.
- The BVS – Bolstered Ventilation and Stability system– allows for a stable, secure fit over body armor.
- PALS webbing on interior and exterior accommodates MOLLE accessories
- Side compression straps
- Expandable load shelf
- Built of custom spec’d 500D CORDURA® with DWR and PU coatings for maximum durability, UV, and weather protection
- High abrasion neoprene

Rated 5 out of 5 by Decky from Excellent Carry-Anything PackI purchased this a few months ago, mostly for the frame. I've been using the load sling to get back into carrying heavy things for long distances and am looking forward to attaching to a USMC main pack. So far, I've carried approx. 80 lbs with the load sling and there were no signs of stress on the frame or the sling itself at all. I was able to fit and stack 4 separate rice bags within the sling, with room to stack higher. There are rubber-like pads on the frame at about chest height that were uncomfortable on my first hike, but like a new pair of boots, they just needed to be "broken in." Almost immediately after purchase online, Mystery Ranch sent several very instructive emails on form fitting the frame as well as other hiking advice. Overall, I am very satisfied with this frame and sling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AK2021 from fantastic packI looked at and researched packs for just carrying meat. I looked at many packs and settled in on Mystery Ranch. The load sling pack is better and more than I expected. The thought into its construction is just the beginning. Craftsmanship and construction are steps above the completion bar non. I purchased this pack for the up coming hunting season, but have been wearing it on hikes with different loads and configurations of load heights and weights. Superb are my comments. Buy this pack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve from Compatible with USMC main packPurchased the Load Sling to use the frame with the USMC main pack. The frame has attachment points that are compatible with the attachment points on the USMC pack. The frame flexes comfortably as you move, and the BVS is a game-changer when hiking with body armor. I carried a 70lbs load on a 12 mile hike comfortably.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JTOL from Pack is great, but some questionable materialsThis is probably the most comfortable pack I've ever worn for heavy loads, but there are questionable materials being used for the shoulder harness mesh and hip pad mesh. Just putting the pack on for the first time for a few minutes over my clothes, all of the mesh started to fray. I wore it once hiking, and the thing is like a sheep losing its wool in the summer. They say it's normal, but a still skeptical. Paying $500 for a pack, you should not expect this to happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tk99 from Awesome with heavy loadsThis frame is awesome. I bought to use at the Infantry Officer Course for the Marines, and this was perfect. When we were turning in packs at supply, most frames were cracked or broken. This was as strong as ever. It is incredibly comfortable and works great with a flak or without one. It is easy to attach the frame to the pack, and it is very easy to adjust the sizing of the pack. Would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Partisan from Use it to carry 5 Gallon jerry cansThe bag is fantastic and well made. Took some finess and playing around with but I use it to carry a 5 Gallon Jerry can. Lashed a Cana-provisions AR-1 to the molle and bellow that is a wide GP pouch. Fits great and is comfortable enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Work horseI don't regret purchasing the load sling Nice frame(in multi cam) because I wanted the load sling and the BVS nice frame not the MLF frame that comes with the black jack 100. Big mistake that they won't sell just packs. Dumb they want to force everyone to purchase another frame now with every pack when they are interchangeable at least some are like the military line I know. Other wise the frame and load sling are super comfy to wear. Made very well. I am blown away at how it centers ones gravity of your pack which I just attached USMC main bag to it for now. I could even drop my Cf-90 pack without shoulder straps in the load sling and use it like that. I even attached a test version of the jump ruck to the nice frame which worked similar to the USMC main bag minus the buckles on the bottom. I just used the built in strap on the test jump ruck to secure to the nice frame. All in all happy with the load sling and BVS Nice frame combo.
