Rated 5 out of 5 by BowNaxe from Great Product!The Mystery Ranch Spotting Scope Sling is an excellent addition to my kit. Well made and very versatile. The only improvement I would make is an additional device to secure the tripod pocket. The strap does a great job at the top but the pocket at the base could be a smidge bigger. I can put two of my Vortex tripod legs in the pocket and that works but I had to add an additional strap to secure it from coming out. I'm sure MR will take all the feedback from the first edition and modify it in later versions. Can't beat the generous opening and dry-bag style latch. Highly recommend one to protect your spotter investment.

Couldn't find anything I like, but after realizing that Mystery Ranch had a spotting scope case, I jumped on it. Mounted it right up to my 2 day assault pack and I couldn't be happier. My Mystery Ranch setup blows away ANY pack setups that are photography specific.

It is tight, but fits fine.Only negative is that the tripod carrying sleeve/feature seems just a hair small for a full sized tripod. Everything else seems well designed and built, the roll top is great, the padding built in to the bag is a nice feature, and it beats diving into the backpack every time you want to look at something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Steve N from Good, safe storage for my spotterGood quality product with a nice dry-bag style roll-top design that's easy to use and allows for the adjustability to fit different sized spotters. I use this to keep my spotter (a LARGE Bushnell Forge with an angled eye piece) safe while inside my bag (I can't affix it to the outside of my particular bag) or while it's floating around the truck for quick and easy, yet secure access. The shoulder strap is great for at the range when you're carrying multiple things at once and want to make less trips or if you're just going to be doing some spotting for a buddy in the field (especially relevant for me since I can't attach it to my bag). My only gripe is that my tripod's feet do not fit in the side pocket meant for them, I can fit 2 of the 3 which is enough but I just wish it would fit all 3 for a little more security.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Exactly the solution I neededI have the Maven S.1 Straight 25x50x80 Spotter and this bag works perfectly as a storage solution within my Kuiu pack and it is also something that can be used on a stand alone basis. jumping out of the side by side and getting into a glassing position while leaving my back behind, the sling style works great for throwing it over my shoulder on the go!.also love the outside tripod storage system that makes this bag unique!! GREAT BAG!!!Jared Johnson

It works great for hiking and I like how the top closes like a dry bag. I do wish it had a bit more padding but I might be able to find a neoprene cover for the scope. I would recommend this item to others who want a solid case for their spotting scope.
