Rated 5 out of 5 by Plymouth PJL from Great daily cary backpackI have had this bag a few weeks now and am very impressed. The quality is excellent and the three zip design makes the bag so easy to use. I also like the small details like the pull tabs for all of the zippers. Very comfortable straps, overbuilt for a bag of this size. Plenty of webbing to attach whatever you may want or nothing if you want to keep the sleek profile of the ASAP. The only negative for me are the water bladder pockets on the interior. They tend to get in the way when loading the bag so I added velcro to hold them down and out of the way. This bag is expensive but the quality is outstanding and it is sewn in here in America.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from My Everyday PackI wanted one of these for many years and when my color of choice was re-released I finally pulled the trigger. This is a great sized pack for everyday use - I travel a lot and take it on every trip. It makes a handy carry-on or for just around town. Of course it is built like a tank and could probably carry 50 pounds if one could cram that much stuff into it. I took it on a sortie around Arches National Park and it worked as great in the backcountry as in the front country. It's got plenty of adaptability for add-ons with all the webbing and carry's extremely well. It's my 6th Dana Designs / Mystery Ranch Pack and probably won't be my last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dr Rock from Great size, the benchmark in fit and comfortThis pack is just what I was looking for. The size makes it perfect for high mobility activities. I’ve used mind for snowboarding, enduro motorcycle riding, shooting competitions etc. The futura yoke allows this pack to carry a good load, despite its size. Its low profile make it very easy to move through tight spaces yet it still has a good amout of volume. Some reviewers complain about the small waist band but I must respectfully disagree. What I like is the minimalist approach and a 1” really only needs to be utilized for stabilization and not weight bearing in my experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Solid BagI just got back from Afghanistan where I used this bag daily during dismounted patrols. Love the light weight and slick exterior. As with other MR bags, the tri-zip is great for accessing items in the bottom. This is the perfect size for carrying the standard assault pack items: extra ammo, frags, food, water, etc. Rides well with a plate carrier. I had no issues with the small waist strap, as I removed it anyways so it would not interfere with the rest of my kit. Overall, a well designed bag that worked well for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Quality and durability is unmatched!I have had my asap for well over 2 years. I use it for EDC to work and 1 day hiking and overnight excursions. I also use it for my carry on during flights. With the molle on the outside I can attach most any pouch to carry just a bit more kit. I've put it through hell because sticking to the trail is a bit boring. So I have found myself in some very undesirable terrain. It still looks new! I served as a 18B in the Army Special Forces ( I ETS'd back in 1995 before everything got high speed) I also own the Mystery Ranch Mountain Ruck as it reminds me of my glory days. I'm looking at the 35L Scapegoat next. As a side note If you're complaining about not having a waist belt on a pack this small.... you may not know what your doing. Anyway, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH MYSTERY RANCH!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great urban size/carries light/fits superblyThis bag is the best in its class, IMHO. It fits so well that, unlike its competitors there is no fidgeting or feeling of either its own weight or whatever load is inside. Although I have had pouches attached I've removed them for subway riding and navigating confined spaces. The material shows no wear whatsoever after a year of use. The contrasting colour zipper pulls are a great idea for visual pickup and I generally have a flag patch mounted on the Velcro area on the lid. Well made, sleek and comfortable so all of my criteria are satisfied by the ASAP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Small PackReceived my ASAP and was immediately pleased. It is a very good looking and functional pack, just the right size for air travel carry-on, or quick out and back family trips or deer/hog hunts. It's not as tiny as I thought it was going to be, and will fit a 15 x 10 laptop with ease. The waste belt is no longer tuckable, but is now removable. It is only a 1 inch belt because for a pack this size and also for assault pack uses, a belt is mostly for stability...so that it doesn't swing side to side, not load transfer to the hips. I can't imagine why someone would purchase a 900ci pack and complain about the small waste belt. For us normal folk, it's a great pack to just throw on and go about our business, and is made with typical Mystery Ranch quality construction, in the USA. I've only had this pack a couple of days but I have had several Mystery Ranch packs and know I can count on it being durable and lasting as long as any pack out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matt from Perfect EDCThis is ideal EDC Carry pack. I also consider this the largest sized pack to ride with on an MTB. This is the gear I carry for long/extended mountain/desert rides. Bullet proof construction, made in USA (Berry compliant) and worth every penny. I would disregard any negative comments about waist belt. This pack weight class only needs waist belt to secure pack during running, riding, or other dynamic maneuvering. It’s not meant to carry load on hips and is perfect as is. Built for the Mission indeed.
