Rated 4 out of 5 by Cory H from Great piggy back ideaI’ve been waiting for a MR pack that is smaller than 20L and can be easily piggy backed onto larger systems. It’s finally here. Simple design, quality build (as always) and light weight. The only thing that I could ask for in this pack is additional storage pockets inside the pack, just to keep smaller loose objects secure. Would have rated the pack 5 stars if there were storage pockets. This pack is currently piggy backed on my plate carrier, using the molle loops and the additional straps attached to the carrier’s shoulder straps

Rated 4 out of 5 by Something_Clever from So close..Haven’t spent a ton of time with this pack yet but here’s some initial impressions Build quality and materials are solid. Modularity is pretty outstanding. I also love the concept of this dockable scout pack for the larger rucks.Cons: not a fan of the orange highlights. Having a real hard time making this pack fit comfortably. It has about 3 hot spots that you can alternate between, the worst being across the back between the straps. Hoping for a version 2 that wears a little better

Rated 4 out of 5 by shoebox32 from Light-weight, efficient, necessaryI just purchased this after attending TAC in Oklahoma and decided the backpack I was using wasn’t capable of doing what I needed. This pack is small enough that it doesn’t get in the way, but still offers plenty of room for any necessities you may want on a day hike or stalk. Plus with the capability of being used as an add-on for my hunting pack I am very happy with it so far. The only thing I’ve questioned so far (hasn’t been an issue for me yet) is how thin the shoulder straps are. We will see what the future holds.

It's small but big enough to carry a Nalgene and tripod on the outside pockets. Been waiting for this bag for years. Thank you guys at Mystery Ranch for suck an innovative product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Andy from Awesome packI purchased this prior to Total Archery Challenge. I was planning to use my sawtooth or popup but decided I would like to try a bit of a smaller pack. I do a great deal of single day pack hunts in the black hills for deer and antelope and wanted to see how this worked. I was extremely impressed with this pack. I loved the size. I carried my puffy coat, heavy weight hoody, and stone glacier rain gear along with water, snacks, and extra arrows. I still had plenty of room for additional essentials for hunting. I love how it comes with shoulder straps for day packing but then has the ability to mount to other packs or frames. I will definitely be using for hunting season and highly recommend. I have a large amount of Mystery Ranch packs and love them all for different reasons. I cannot wait to try this out more during archery and rifle seasons in many different terrains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brad from PerfectI haven’t used the pack yet, but it’s the perfect size for day to day trips to and from the boat. It appears it’s constructed with water resistant material to withstand the wet climate I live in.
