Rated 5 out of 5 by Theron from PerfectBought this pouch to put on a MR Metcalf. I have the older frame with no molle on the hip belt but I was still available to mount the pouch secure. I can fit a standard Nalgene or the GSI 33oz Microlite. Just wish they had foliage color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by george from Great except for the shock cordLove the MOLLE attachment. I attach it to the outside of my SG R3 3300 and keep an empty 1.5L Nalgene in it as a reservoir to fill when I come across water. Water bottle fits well and rides without moving around. After my first trip, however, the shock cord meant to keep the bottle in place almost wore through. As a means of securing the bottle in the pocket, it is poorly designed and poor quality cord material.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ad110 from Not a fan of the tuck tabsI bought this to go on my MR Guide Light MT Frame. It works great, however, as I often take my pack off and put it back on as well as toss it in the back of my truck and pull it out, the tuck tabs are constantly coming untucked and then the bottle holder is not secured and i have to retuck the tabs. I'd say if you aren't rough with your pack or don't get accessories snagged on stuff too often this is probably fine, however, for those with more rough movement, you may want to look elsewhere or try modifying this to a snap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Roberino from The Best MR Bottle Holder YetI'm sure like many of you, I started off with high hopes of the MR Bottle Pocket that has the elastic rim. However that pocket was impossible to get a Nalgene bottle back into with one hand.Thankfully this one is easier and mirrors the same design as the bottle pocket on the Wingman. It's a huge improvement. Why 4 stars? As a SAR team member, the best place for me to mount this is on the hip belt using the MOLLE loops. That being said, it's still difficult at times to put a full size Nalgene bottle back into this pocket with one hand since the pocket itself has no expansion capability for re-entry. The bottle has to be perfectly centered to re-enter the pocket, which obviously is a challenge when it's on your side and only reachable by one hand. Here's my recommended solution for the MR team: Similar to how the Glock Gen5's have a flared mag well to allow for easier loading of magazines, consider either flaring the top 1/2" of this pocket to allow a bottle to be placed into easier, or, add elastic ribbing to the pocket so that it can be briefly expanded to receive the bottle, then retract back to a snug fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lonn from Def a disappointmentI bought the bottle pocket to attach to my Scree 33. Only place I can figure to attach it is on the belt loop. Using the "MOLLE" system - either I am doing it completely incorrectly or it simply is a "barely functional", much more challenging than necessary system. The little security loop on the bottle is not a bad idea but the tags on the end of the lines came off on the second day. I finally gave up using the system half way up Kilimanjaro. Will send it back to the company for possible repair. Maybe they can develop a video of how it is supposed to be used - I might just be making a mistake when trying to adapt it to my backpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by iHike from TerraFrame additionsI now have two of these and two of the Forager Pockets on my TerraFrame50. They are great additions putting both water and snacks within easy reach while hiking. The water bottle pockets also allow me to use the expandable pockets on the side of the pack for other things, like fuel bottles and tent poles that I would rather not have inside the pack.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JohnHunter from Tuck tabs don’t stay tucked.I am extremely disappointed in this water bottle holder. The part that holds water bottles works fine, but the tuck tabs keep coming undone and it falls off my Beartooth pack. It would have been very easy to put snaps or Velcro on it to hold it in place, but instead I end up with a $25 water bottle holder that I don’t trust to hold my water bottle.
