Rated 5 out of 5 by Alex K from Great Improvements to old modelCaveat: This is a new product and I have just started using it. That said I am very pleased with it. The tacky material on the sling has kept it from falling from my shoulder and the system has proven to keep my firearm stowed and easy accessed while I am hiking. I did replace the swivel hardware with QDs to fit my rifle, but I am pleased. I have been looking for a system that accommodates a sling. So far I have been using the Kifaru Gun Bearer and while it is proven system it does not accommodate a sling well. So far I have no negative feedback. I will update this review if something changes

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kenneth from It's OK. It helps. A bit.If you're looking for something that keeps your rifle on your shoulder a bit better than a standard sling, this will do the job. If you're looking for something that will keep your rifle on your shoulder securely without needing to think about it, this won't help. Any time I lean forward, or drop my right shoulder, the rifle swings off, the muzzle pointing around in ways that aren't helpful. I'd been hoping this would secure my rifle sufficiently to ride a bike, and that's a non-starter. But if you're looking for a bit of shoulder relief while hiking, and occasionally freeing up your dominant hand, it'll do the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rett from Good SlingLet me start by saying IT'S A RIFLE SLING. If you're worried about this thing slipping off your pack while you're doing a Zumba class you probly should stay inside. If you're looking for a comfortable hands free sling that is integrated into your pack system, this is a great option. Only down fall is the strap that attaches to your non dominant hand side twists your pack strap slightly but honestly it's not much of a factor. Anyone who complains about fitment needs to look at how they have this adjusted because it took some trial and error to find what I found comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by greg69 from Poor designI bought this product in hopes of having my rifle stay on my shoulders and have my hands free while trekking through rough terrain or even flat terrain, but I find it very difficult to keep my rifle in place. At first sight I thought was a great idea, but strongly regret purchasing this product. Your videos on this product are funny because the person showing you how to use it just stands there and doesn’t move around, also the instructions that the product comes with is different from videos and different from instructions on package. I love my MR bag,but this product really sucks. Shame on you Mystery Ranch!

Rated 2 out of 5 by NinjaGuy from Concept was enticing. The concept of this rifle sling was enticing enough for me to build an entire Mystery Ranch system for last year's mule deer hunt. Popup 28, bino harness, and this rifle sling. The sling fell short of what I was hoping for. The sling itself is good and made well and the sternum strap works well. The hip belt attachment has a huge design flaw. There is only one molle strap to attach it to the pack hip belt making the fitment very loose. I lost it first day out in the field with no luck for recovery. Please fix this and sell me replacement. I like the rest of my system ery much and really be willing to buy another hip belt tab.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rooster319 from Great Concept Horrible Execution for steep terrainRecently used this sling for a bighorn sheep hunt in wyoming. While I appreciate the intent of this product, the execution and use of this product is only advisable on flat to moderate slope terrain. Climbing and descending on extremely steep terrain was only amplified by the strap allowing the rifle to sling off your arm with enough momentum to throw off balance and possibly assisting the effort of gravity to launch you off the side of cliffs. Scree is hard enough to walk on to not have to worry about your rife flinging off your shoulder and throwing you further off balance. Only recommend for flat terrain and low to moderate terrain. If I could get my money back, I would.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Old School Hunter from Needs WorkConcept looks good but in reality does not work . As soon as you lean forward, rifle slips forward off your shoulder. Not sure how product development boys could have missed that especially with the popularity of bicycles for hunting. Magnetic clasp works well but also does your pack sternum strap to hold rifle sling onto your chest. Think it was wishful thinking bringing this kit to market especially for the price, yikes! Rated 1 out of 5 by Lulu19 from Not what I had hoped for.I bought this about a month ago to use on a mule deer hunt in conjunction with my Pop up 28. I was sorely disappointed in the performance of this accessory. I found that the strap stayed put about 50% of the time on my shoulder and would slide at the most inconvenient times like when I was ascending. Also, the stock dock was hard to access off my pack, which made for an awkward retrieval of my rifle and unfortunately scratched the crap out my composite stock. Highly irritating that a rifle sling would mar my gun. I would never recommend this product.
