Profession

Photographer and Director

My outdoor pursuits over the years have fallen on either side of a broad grey area where my professional adventuring and adventure for passion cross over. I grew up here in Bozeman, Montana where I learned to climb, ski, backpack, fly fish and do any of the myriad of different activities one has access to here in SW Montana. In my pursuit of stories as a photographer and film maker, I have climbed Kilimanjaro, Denali, and spent time on the flanks of Everest, I have skied first descents on the peaks of Northern Kurdistan, traversed the wilds of the Arctic Tundra in pursuit of white bears and owls, and told stories of remarkable characters young and old on almost every continent in the world.

Outdoor adventure is baked into my ethos, it continues to take me beyond the horizon and also remain as my steadfast solace when I need to feel the beat of my own heart in my head on an afternoon in the mountains around Bozeman and I certainly plan on that remaining to be the case for the rest of my days.
