Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large EDC bagI bought this to replace an old 21L bag I had been using daily for the past 7 years. I wanted a bit more space and this is great. I am able to carry all my work toys plus a change of clothes (last pic) and still have enough space for a laptop, paperwork, and even fit 3 jumbo bags of candy in with everything else. Looking forward to taking it out for day hikes. If you have a hammock this could definitely be an overnight camp bag, and I think a water bladder could slip into the laptop sleeve. Very good construction and love the way you can either open up from the top or easily splay the entire thing open. Good organization pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Travel / Commute / Work BagI've been using a few different bags before I settled on this one. I was using Thule, GoRuck, Arc'teryx, Tumi, and 5.11. All are great bags and have great features but just never had everything that I wanted in one. I'm DOD so I was looking for one that didn't stand out as a "military" bag and I also didn't want an office style bag. This fits perfectly between that criteria. I also wanted a water bottle holder on the side, which most brands don't do. I use this bag for deployments, TDYs, vacations, and everyday use. Enough pockets and space to fit most things you need in the airport or on the road. Couldn't be happier with this bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for WorkSolid performer and very comfortable. I have used a military grade ASAP for a long time and love it. This is a similar design, but a bit larger. Good internal storage options for working accessories, and the laptop storage is well padded and accommodating. Good pack for business aesthetics and a two day overnight trip. As stated in other reviews, the pack does not stand on its own, but that is not an issue in my estimation. Stows well under an airplane seat and is comfortable to wear for long periods. It handles the weather well with the sealed zippers and is everything that I have come to expect for quality in a Mystery Ranch pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pack. Solid updateI bought it for a friend this Xmas since we were heading to New Zealand and he was looking for a good carry on/EDC to get through the trip and beyond. This was a great option. He loved it and it seems to address the challenge I always had slipping laptop in and out of my 21 when loaded up. It was his new favorite pack. Still fit under the seats and the extra water bottle pockets are excellent. Personally I love the low profile of the 21 and this seems to thicken it up a little, might be nice to see a couple sinch straps up top for times it’s not padded out to lower the profile but as is it still kicks my Oakley to the curb. Great job on the update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nailed it!I'm a gear guy and it takes a lot to impress me, but MR constantly does. So far I've been on 3 trips with it, 2 domestic (US) and one overseas. The organizational features are perfect. I can carry work-related documents, laptop and tablet in the "rear" section, leaving the main Y section for a rain jacket, light pullover, trauma kit, boo-boo kit, TQ, admin items snacks etc. The 2 low profile water bottle sleeves are surprisingly accessible even then the bag is full. The load lifters and weight distribution are excellent. The slick nature of many of MR's products means an easy fit under the seat on an any size aircraft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great every day carry.Waiting 7 months for the release of this bag. Worth the wait and the price. Mystery Ranch really listened to their customers in this one. Great organization and excellent access so you can fill it to the brim and still access things easily. Fits gym clothes, up to two laptops, lunch, and other necessities all with easy access so you can get everything without unpacking. Excellent mystery ranch quality. Only wish it had a few MOLLE strips/carabineer attachment points so I could clip on larger loads (do a lot of water activities and like to clip my PFD on my bag). But also appreciate the ultra clean design the bag has without them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and Well Built Pack!I purchased this pack a couple weeks ago and love it! It really fits well and conforms to my back better than any pack I've owned previously. It does feel bigger than other 24L packs I've owned, but that could be because it is a bit heavier and has more material. I love the versatility of it as I think it is a great pack for my New York City commutes, as well as traveling and trail hiking. Just be aware if you want to use the outside pockets it does take space away from the inside of the pack as they do not expand, but it also means it is very durable. I feel that most outside pockets that do expand tend to be the first things that tear on a pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tip for extra .4 liter of spaceJust purchased and notices a fairly thick piece of foam between the laptop compartment and main pack area which does indeed protect a laptop if, for example, the main pack were filled with full mags or canned food. But, I need every cubic inch I can get. So, if you reach down to the bottom of the laptop compartment, you can feel a velcro flap opening to the foam pad between the laptop compartment and main bag area. BE ADVISE, if you remove the foam bad, it will be VERY difficult to get it back in but you will gain about 24 cu. in (.4L) of volume. cheers and thank you MR for giving us the option!
